Whats new you say? well.... A hair named Elegance of course! I love this one , and its flexi , so you can fling it back and forth as you work the catwalk or whatever else you want to show off for.



Also I am having a 100L spring sale. Some hair is even for 75L , so keep a look out for that. I hope you all stop by and find something you like. For 100l or less, you could try that new hair color you have been eyeing, but wasn't quite sure if you wanted to chance it or not! What's new at Polished Hair?

Hi Polished ones!

I want to apologize for neglecting my blog for some time. I am pretty burnt out in rl and sl wise. So I've been taking a mini break. Sometimes you just need to stop to take a breather, do something fun in sl or rl, not just work work work. So that's what I have been doing. However I did release two new hairdos since last post and launched my Polished Jewelry Line. So come by my south I location and check them out.

A bit more news is....My main store will now be located at my south I location for now. My kon tiki eastern store will be closing down . Theres just a high amount of lag there and I can hardly put up anything new without it taking me a good 30 mins of pushing through lag. So disregard your kon tiki landmarks :)

Two new hairstyles and I finished my store!

Hi Polished ones!

Whats new for the week is , I just released two new hairs Ten and Nina. Ten is Modifiable due to the hat. I know some people may like to wear their hat differently then I have it. And Nina is of course no mod but with the resizer built in .




I finally finished my new store. The outside looks awesome thanks to pumpkin , Rico. I have two people to truely thank for how nice my store came out to be. Thanks to Wuvme Karuna and Rico Plisskin for their creativity.

New store and location in the works!

Hi Polished ones!

Just sending a little update on the new location and store. Its still under construction but so far so good!. The new store is now located at South I. You can still come and buy from this store as well. All hair is up , and alot less lag.

Post Valentines Day

I hope everyone who wished to got to take advantage of the valentines day sale I had going on . Specially for all those redhead lovers out there. I wanted to thank all of you who came to visit. I hope the lag wasn't too bad. I'm still working on getting new land , so if anyone knows of any good rental parcels, drop me a IM in world.
My valentines day once again was uneventful..le sigh! Days like those , us happy to be single people wish we had someone to spend the special day with. Am I right? LOL

No news to share today other then I am back in the sky working on the next hairstyles to be released. Also doing a bit of research on sculpties and scripts. Who knows , one day I may just put out sculpty hair...yeah one day ...far...far away. *laughs*

2 New Hairstyles set out yesterday at Polished!

Well, after my lack of prim count, fight with a coloring machine that I couldn't get to work , and adding the resizer script, I finally put out two new hairs yesterday. Yay for me!

Both of these hairs feature the new resizer, therefore they are no mod. But believe me , the resizer makes sizing hair soooo much easier. You can even resize during demos. My regular customers know that this is awesome when it comes to my hair cause I have a peanut head. I may just have the smallest head in Second Life, lol. Anyway, I'm pretty excited about getting back into creating hair more frequently. Sometimes I feel like I'm still stuck in some christmas vacation warp. If you haven't been to my store, come visit me and try on some hair.

Move postponed til further notice..

Hi everyone,

Well I jumped the gun a bit on moving . I was under the impression my rent was up soon and due to the abundance of lag I have been experiencing at my current location ,I was thinking of finding a nice covenent area that would help bring down the lag and also encourage a well put together scenery. So if anyone knows of any quality land for rent thats available , please drop me a notecard or IM inworld. Cherise Benavente


Also , my new hair releases are on the way. Right now, I am dealing with rl related issues as well as reading up on a few tools that should help me produce my work faster then I have been previously. ex: I currently color all hair by hand! I know I know, stone age lol. So to all my supporters , please bare with me as I get this show on the road.

Brightened my sick days..

Hey everyone,

I have been really sick in rl with some nasty flu virus. I haven't been in the hair factory like i should be, i know i know. Bad Cherise! But I do want to take the time out to thank Fash Con and all my customers who came out to my store for rezzday. It brightened my sickly days. Within moments of posting I had like 15 people in my store and it was a beautiful sight. Then suddenly I couldn't move or answer Im's in all the wonderous lag. For once I welcomed LAG lol. Mmk , yes, most probably did just come for the dollarbie lol BUT, alot of you stuck around and looked around my store. Many picked up other colors in Kaykay and also other hairstyles available around the store. Rezzday was such a great success. I just wanted to thank all those who showed up and participated in such a fun day.
With that out of the way , I have some upcoming events that my customers should know about.

One being that Polished Hair will be moving in a few days. Ah, the dreaded move. I hope you all will follow me on to the next location and not forget about me :). After the move I will be back in the factory working on some new projects, so keep a look out. With this move I am hoping to have a more serene and eye catching atmosphere. There has been a few things I always wanted my store to look like , but couldn't due to prim woes and the feel of surrounding locations. So I am excited to get this new project underway. I will post later in more detail with the new landmark and any other information you should know.

Secondly, On valentines day I will be having a sale on all Red and Pink color hair! Not sure how much of a knock off it will be right now , so you have to come by the new location to find out *grins* Red and pink textures will include Crimson, Firey and Pinky. So all you redhead lovers, make sure you show up.

And last but not least, I just want to again thank all my customers and supporters. I never thought a year ago, that I would be doing this , but now that I am; I wonder what took me so long! I just hope with time and growth I can reach more people and bring to them quality hairstyles that they would love to wear in world.

My First Trail :(

Hey all,

So being the clutz that I sometimes am , I've been having problems getting into my blog. I have to remember so many passwords for different things my brain is frying. LOL. So after two days of struggling and password retrievals, I finally learned how to put a playlist on my blog. Thanks Chloe! Well , I thought I'd write a little something before going off to work. I'm so excited because I finally finished my color collection of hair textures. It took a while but I'm in love with the shades I picked. Don't forget to hope over to Polished Hair if you haven't. I think theres something for everyone. ( shameless plug? Of course not , Polished Hair what this blog is all about!) *giggles* Well hopefully soon , I will find some cool coder or scripter so that I can show picture ads for you all to browse. Right now theres just my flickr header which shows some ads made by the oh so talented Rico Plisskin. *waves to pumpkin butt* Oh thats going to embarass him bad....but oh wells! Thats it for now but check back. As soon as I get this ball rolling, I will have much more to say !

Welcome to Polished Hair Blog!

Hi everyone,

First and foremost I would like to thank you for coming to check out my blog. This is my first attempt at one, so go easy on me :P
This blog is created to share my products, thoughts and trails and tribulations as a up and coming Hair designer. My thoughts are completely my own and should not reflect on your own about my work. I hope you enjoy and check back often!

As some may know , I started making hair as just a hobby. I'm not a expert at prim manipulation. Actually I knew nothing about prims when I first started. Now 4 months later I am just now getting the hang of how to make them do what I want at times, the other times I play around with them until they make some random shape I find a way to use. It has been a fun and sometimes stressful , sleepless few months and I hope to continue for many months to come.

When I first decided to try hair it was for a selfish reason. I just couldn't find hair that I felt represented me. The way I liked to wear my hair or how I would want a style to look when wearing formal wear. So as I set out to attempt to make hair and eventually completed a few, I begin to recieve compilments here and there from friends and random slers. Thats when the light bulb appeared above my head and I thought to myself " Why not make my hairstyles available to others and if they like them and buy them; that would be great too!" Wala! Polished Hair was born!

I won't bore you all with the rest , but what I can say is ...it's been one helluva rollercoaster ride that I never want to get off of!
